"My oncologist referred me to Richard Jones to build strength and endurance after a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation therapy for breast cancer. My oncologist didn’t know that I had never been an athlete, and that walking the dog was the extent of my exercising so that Richard was really starting at ground zero for me. Richard customized a training regimen that recognized my lack of ability and equipment and worked with me while I was using sofa cushions as mats and hanging on to furniture for balance. Over the weeks, Richard identified my needs andrecommended various pieces of equipment that were extremely affordable and that I could use as I progressed through my physical development.
I’ve continued to see Richard for 5 years now, where he creates a custom workout almost weekly. His routines provide a full-body workout, without overtaxing my older muscles, and he continues to be enthusiastic and motivating all these years in.
